The Company was founded in 1981 and was taken over in 1990 by the actual owners, the Acanfora and Klingenberg families, pioneers for the Naples area in the handling of ground operations for five star cruise ships, to create a specialized travel agency exclusively for the management of cruise ship’s ground operations.
We do operate directly in all ports of our area, as Gaeta, Ponza, Naples, Capri, Ischia, Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano, Salerno, Agropoli, and Lipari. Also, a lot of effort has been put into building up a successful network to operate all over Italy at the same standards enjoyed in the ports where we operate directly.
New Cycle operates, directly or as a subcontractor, as ground agent for the following companies: Seabourn-Cunard, Renaissance, Radisson, Travel Dynamics, Orient Lines, Plantours Partner, Hapag Lloyd, Vistatours, Wind Star, Holland America Lines, Thompson Cruises, Aida cruises and many others.
All personnel, directly employed, is equipped with portable phones and radio equipment in order to guarantee optimal co-ordination of the whole operation.
Most of our personnel operating on the pier are also professionally skilled guides, who are able to answer any kind of queries brought forward by our clients.
Company has operated in the same port up to 7 ships at the same time, with more than 6.000 guests in excursion.
